Created by an active New Jersey police officer, union leader, military veteran, husband, and father, DutyWire was developed with a clear understanding of the challenges that come with nontraditional schedules. For those working rotating shifts—days, swings, mids, overtime, and changing assignments—most calendars and productivity tools are not built to support the realities of shift work.

Create a template like “Work”, “Day Shift”, “Midnights”, and pick multiple days, set a weekly repeat, or choose from preset shift patterns like Pitman, 4/3, 4/4. If your pattern isn't available, select “Custom” in Rotation Pattern and enter the numbers below.
CAN I SHARE & LINK A CALENDAR?
YES, and Dutywire is different from other calendar apps because it's specifically designed for First Responders and Shift Work. When signing up, you'll get your own non-shareable “MY CALENDAR" for personal use. You can also create up to 5 shareable calendars for managing family, friends, or team schedules. Just press the calendars button, create a shareable calendar, and follow the steps. You can customize calendars with profiles and colors to filter events and identify their purpose.
