DutyWire Technologies LLC ("DutyWire," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information when you use the DutyWire mobile app, our websites, including dutywire.com, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. You can view this Privacy Policy in the app under Profile > About > Privacy Policy and at dutywire.com/privacy-policy.
1. Scope and Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to:
· The DutyWire mobile app
· Our websites
· Support and service-related communications
The Services are operated by:
DutyWire Technologies LLC
Email: support@dutywire.com
Phone: (732) 710-6393
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
Account and Profile Information
· Display name
· Email address
· Optional phone number
· Profile role and profile details you choose to add
DutyWire's authentication provider handles account passwords. DutyWire does not store plaintext account passwords on its servers. If you enable "Remember me," the app stores your email and password securely on your device using iOS Keychain or Android encrypted preferences so the sign-in form can be prefilled and sign-in can be streamlined. You can disable "Remember me" at any time to remove those stored remembered credentials. The authentication provider may also store secure session tokens on your device to keep you signed in.
Calendars and Scheduling Data
· Calendar names
· Events and event details
· Shift stamps
· Repeating and rotating schedule settings
· Shift series metadata
· Reminders
· Notes
· Locations, categories, and related scheduling details
Shared Calendar Data
· Member display names
· Roles
· Member IDs
· Invite codes
· Optional invitee email addresses
· Calendar profiles you create for shared calendars, such as children, family members, or other profile names
· Optional color selections for shared calendar profiles
Records and Attachments
· Record folders
· Record and journal entries
· Notes and details
· Tags or record metadata
· Uploaded files, such as photos, PDFs, receipts, certificates, and documents
Records and attachments are cloud-backed so they can remain available with your account. Uploaded attachments are stored using our cloud storage provider and associated with your account and the folder or record where you added them.
Fitness, Wellness, and Body Stats
You may enter or create fitness-related information, such as:
· Workout routines
· Saved exercises
· Workout schedule assignments
· Workout session logs
· Skipped routine dates
· Manual body stats, vitals, and custom metrics
· Daily check-ins, including sleep, stress, mood, and notes
In the current version, this manually entered fitness and wellness data is stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.
Apple Health and Device Activity Data
On iOS, if you choose to connect Apple Health, DutyWire requests read-only access to selected activity data, currently:
· Step count
· Active energy burned, shown as calories
· Walking and running distance
· Heart rate
DutyWire uses this Apple Health data only to display today's activity inside the Fitness section. DutyWire does not write data to Apple Health and does not send Apple Health data to DutyWire servers in the current version. You can manage Apple Health permissions through Apple Health or iOS Settings.
On Android, DutyWire may provide Health Connect or similar device-linking options where supported. If enabled in a future or supported version, those permissions will be requested by the device platform, and DutyWire will use the data only for the in-app fitness display described at the time permission is requested.
Money and Budget Data
You may enter budgeting information, such as:
· Earnings and income settings
· Expense categories
· Expenses
· Savings goals
· Coverage calculator inputs
· Monthly outlook details
In the current version, money and budget data is stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.
Shift Log, Fire Log, and Duty Tasks
DutyWire includes personal recall and task tools, including:
· Shift Log entries
· Fire Log entries
· Shift and fire notes
· Duty task items
· Quick notes
· Copied summaries
· Local retention and display preferences for these tools
These tools are intended for personal tracking only and are not official reports, CAD records, medical records, or evidence systems. In the current version, Shift Log, Fire Log, and Duty Tasks data is stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.
Retirement and Local Planning Tools
DutyWire may let you enter local planning details, such as hire dates, retirement target dates, countdown settings, and related preferences. In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.
Location and Weather
If you permit location access, DutyWire may use your approximate location to show local weather on the Home screen. The app may send coordinates or nearby location information to a weather service provider to return weather data. DutyWire does not use location for advertising, cross-app tracking, or sale to third parties. Weather data and related display preferences may be cached locally on your device.
Voice Shortcuts and Assistant Actions
DutyWire supports Siri/App Shortcuts on iOS and Android shortcuts or deep links for certain actions, such as adding broad Shift Log or Fire Log entries. These actions may open the app or create the log action you requested. DutyWire does not receive or store raw Siri, Assistant, or voice audio, and DutyWire does not store full voice transcripts. Apple or Google may process voice input according to their own privacy policies.
Support and Feedback
· Messages you send to us
· Information you include in support requests or feedback
· Diagnostic details you choose to share with us

· Local reminder overrides
· Local notification preferences
· App preferences
· Local weather cache and display settings
· Local usage counters, such as free-plan usage tracking and in-app review prompt timing
· Temporary local shortcut or deep-link actions until the app processes them
Deleting the app or clearing local app data removes this local-only data from your device. Account deletion does not automatically remove local-only data that remains on a device.
